Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp vinegar
  • 12 tsp red food coloring
  • 1 cup chopped Oreos (about 67 Oreos, plus extra for topping)
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy using an electric mixer.
  4. Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, vinegar, and red food coloring until just combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; mix until no streaks of flour remain.
  6. Gently fold in chopped Oreos and white chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop about 1.5 tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies apart.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are set but centers are slightly underdone; top with extra Oreo chunks if desired.
  9. Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
