Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef shoulder (cut into 6 pieces)
- 1 ½ tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 ½ cup salsa verde
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Rub the beef with salt and pepper. Set the Instant Pot to Saute mode and heat avocado oil.
- Sear the beef pieces until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- In a large bowl, mix salsa verde with chicken broth and pour over the seared beef in the Instant Pot.
- Close the lid, turn to Sealing, and select Pressure Cook on High Pressure for 40 minutes.
- After cooking, let pressure Naturally Release for 10 minutes before Quick Releasing any remaining pressure.
- Remove the beef, shred it with forks, then return it to the sauce in the pot and stir.
