  • 1 box strawberry cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp strawberry extract
  • Red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the strawberry batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan. Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture over it, then add the remaining batter on top. Swirl through both layers with a knife.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For frosting, mix powdered sugar, milk, and strawberry extract until smooth; add red food coloring to desired shade. Once cooled, drizzle over the cake.
