  • 1 can (15 oz) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 23 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion and green bell pepper; mince the garlic.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground meat until fully cooked.
  3. Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, kidney beans, and pinto beans.
  5. Season with spices and bring to a boil; reduce heat and let simmer uncovered for about 45 minutes.
