- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced and sautéed
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet or loaf pan.
- Cook chopped turkey bacon in a sauté pan until crispy; set aside. Sauté sliced mushrooms in the same pan until browned.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Fold half of the shredded Swiss cheese into the meat mixture.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf on the baking sheet or in the loaf pan and top with remaining cheese, mushrooms, and turkey bacon.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches at least 160°F (71°C).
