Ingredients
- 8 large pasta shells
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil salted water in a pot; cook pasta shells until al dente, then drain.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crushed tomatoes, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Carefully fill each pasta shell with the mixture and arrange them in a baking dish.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat; sauté garlic until fragrant. Add remaining crushed tomatoes and seasonings; simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Layer half of the sauce in the baking dish, place stuffed shells on top, pour remaining sauce over them, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
