  • 8 large pasta shells
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil salted water in a pot; cook pasta shells until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crushed tomatoes, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Carefully fill each pasta shell with the mixture and arrange them in a baking dish.
  5. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat; sauté garlic until fragrant. Add remaining crushed tomatoes and seasonings; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Layer half of the sauce in the baking dish, place stuffed shells on top, pour remaining sauce over them, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered for about 20 minutes until bubbly.
  8. Garnish with additional basil or parsley before serving.
