  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1½ tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ½ tablespoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon Chinese chili pepper flakes
  • 1 stalk green onion
  • Whole dry chili pepper (optional)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in water, baking soda, and salt until mostly absorbed.
