- 12 oz (340 g) Pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1 lb (450 g) Steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 Bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced
- 1 medium Onion, diced
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 4 cups (960 ml) Beef broth
- 1 can (14.5 oz or 410 g) Diced tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients by cutting steak into bite-sized pieces, slicing bell peppers, dicing onion, and mincing garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt and pepper; sear for 4-5 minutes until browned. Remove from pot.
- In the same pot, sauté onion and bell peppers for about 3-4 minutes; add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Return the steak to the pot; add pasta, beef broth, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Stir well.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer. Cover and cook for about 12-15 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Adjust seasoning as needed before serving hot.
