ONE-POT ZESTY STEAK PASTA is a delightful fusion of juicy steak, vibrant vegetables, and hearty pasta, all simmered in one pot for a flavorsome meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights or special gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340 g) Pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1 lb (450 g) Steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 Bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 cups (960 ml) Beef broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz or 410 g) Diced tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients by cutting steak into bite-sized pieces, slicing bell peppers, dicing onion, and mincing garlic.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt and pepper; sear for 4-5 minutes until browned. Remove from pot.
  3. In the same pot, sauté onion and bell peppers for about 3-4 minutes; add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Return the steak to the pot; add pasta, beef broth, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Stir well.
  5. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer. Cover and cook for about 12-15 minutes until pasta is tender.
  6. Adjust seasoning as needed before serving hot.
