  • 3 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Finely chop onion, celery, bell pepper; mince garlic.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter and sauté vegetables until softened (about 5 minutes).
  3. Stir in garlic and spices; cook for another minute.
  4. Sprinkle flour over veggies; stir for about 2 minutes to form a roux.
  5. Gradually add chicken broth and milk while stirring until combined; simmer for 5–7 minutes.
