- 4 cups chicken broth
- 8 napa cabbage leaves (sliced)
- 5 oz mushrooms (sliced, optional)
- 1/2 block soft tofu (sliced)
- 2 green onions (sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (smashed)
- 4 slices ginger
- 2 teaspoons light soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder (or salt)
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions
- In a medium-sized pot, heat the chicken broth over medium-high heat. Add ginger, green onions, garlic, and light soy sauce.
- Once boiling, add the white parts of the napa cabbage and any mushrooms if using; cook for four minutes until softened.
- Stir in the green parts of the napa cabbage and tofu; cook for another two to three minutes. If using enoki mushrooms, add them now.
- Season with chicken bouillon powder (or salt), white pepper, and drizzle with sesame oil. Adjust seasoning as desired before serving hot.
