  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 6 large eggs, room temperature
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 cup whole milk (room temperature)

  • 1 teaspoon almond extract (optional)

Instructions

  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 85-95 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
