  • 16 oz chocolate tea biscuits
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 6 cups shredded kataifi dough
  • 1 3/4 cups pistachio cream
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup hot heavy cream
  • 1 cup crushed pistachios

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chocolate tea biscuits, instant coffee, and boiling water until softened. Stir in melted unsalted butter until fully combined.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread half of the shredded kataifi dough evenly in a baking dish.
  3. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form, then fold in pistachio cream.
  4. Pour half of the pistachio mixture over the kataifi layer, add another kataifi layer followed by the remaining pistachio cream.
  5. Heat remaining heavy cream and pour over dark chocolate chips; stir until smooth to create ganache.
  6. Spread ganache over the top layer and sprinkle with crushed pistachios. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
