Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds flank steak

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (can use liquid aminos)
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cups broccoli (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Slice flank steak against the grain into bite-sized strips and place in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix coconut oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar to create the marinade. Pour over the steak.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add marinated steak and half of the marinade; sear for 5 minutes.
  4. Add remaining sesame oil and chopped broccoli with the rest of the marinade. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until broccoli is tender but still bright green.
