  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup coconut milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter and brown sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth. Gradually add the flour to form a crumbly dough. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine coconut milk and brown sugar. Stir constantly until it reaches a boil, then simmer for about five minutes until slightly thickened.
