  • 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pasta by boiling salted water in a large pot. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add shrimp seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring well to combine.
  4. Return cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet. Toss gently with Parmesan cheese and simmer for another 2 minutes.
  5. Adjust seasoning as needed with salt, pepper, or red pepper flakes.
  6. Serve immediately garnished with extra Parmesan cheese.
