  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (100g)
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar (110g)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (120g)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (128g)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (170g)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (160g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Mix in the peanut butter until well combined.
  3. Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt until a thick dough forms.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden around the edges.
  5. Drizzle warm caramel sauce over the baked base and sprinkle chocolate chips on top while still warm.
  6. Allow to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for about an hour before cutting into squares.
