- 3 to 4 pounds boneless beef sirloin roast or beef shoulder

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (I use coarsely ground)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
- 1 to 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Season the beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- For the Instant Pot: Cut beef in half, place in the pot with liquid smoke and broth. Cook on high pressure for 60 minutes.
- For the Slow Cooker: Add seasoned beef to the slow cooker with liquid smoke and broth. Cook on low for 8-9 hours.
