  • 1 box Angel food cake
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
  • 1 tub (8 ounces) Cool Whip
  • 1 tablespoon toasted almond slivers

Instructions

  1. Bake the angel food cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely before cutting into cubes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together instant vanilla pudding, milk, and sour cream until smooth; set aside.
  3. In a 9×13 baking dish, layer half of the cake cubes and top with two-thirds of the cherry pie filling.
  4. Add the remaining cake cubes on top and evenly spread the pudding mixture over them.
