- 250 g turkey bacon (diced)
- 250 g goat cheese
- 40 g walnuts (chopped)
- 1 tbsp rosemary (finely diced)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C / 350 degrees F.
- Slice each date lengthwise and remove the seed.
- In a cold pan, cook diced turkey bacon over high heat for about 3 minutes. Add walnuts, two-thirds of the rosemary, maple syrup, and brown sugar; cook until crispy (about 5 minutes).
- Blend goat cheese with orange zest, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a food processor until smooth.
- Stuff each date with approximately one teaspoon of the goat cheese mixture and arrange them on a baking tray. Top with the turkey bacon mixture.
- Bake for about 10 minutes until warm.
