- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 10 tbsp sliced almonds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar to create simple syrup; let cool.
- In a bowl, mix room temperature butter, salt, and granulated sugar until creamy. Incorporate eggs, then add almond flour and plain flour until smooth. Transfer to a piping bag.
- Slice croissants in half horizontally. Brush inside with syrup, fill with almond cream, and sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
