Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 6 cups peeled, sliced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp flour
- ½ cup flour (for topping)
- ½ cup brown sugar (for topping)
- ¼ cup cold butter, cubed (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, lemon juice, and flour. Toss until apples are well coated.
- Pour the apple mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
