- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for crust)
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, melted
- 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries, pitted (for topping)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs, sugar, and melted butter; press into the bottom of the pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, then mix in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla extract and melted dark chocolate.
- Pour the filling over the crust and bake for 50-60 minutes until slightly jiggly in the center. Turn off the oven and let it cool inside with the door ajar for an hour.
