  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup chunky salsa
  • 1 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning with the beef and transfer the mixture to the greased pie pan.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, salsa, 1 cup of shredded cheese, garlic salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the beef in the pie pan and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and set in the middle.
