  • 1 large yellow onion (sliced)
  • 1 cup frozen sweet peas
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Pour beef broth into the crockpot and add cubed stew beef, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, beef bouillon, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine.
  2. Layer potatoes, carrots, and onions on top of the seasoned beef.
  3. Cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 6-8 hours until the beef is fork-tender.
  4. In the last few minutes of cooking, stir in frozen sweet peas.
  5. Create a slurry by mixing cornstarch with water; whisk until smooth and add to the crockpot while stirring until thickened.
  6. Cook on high for an additional 10 minutes or until gravy reaches desired consistency.
