  • 1 lb mozzarella cheese (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 jar (15 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. In one shallow dish, mix flour, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In another dish, whisk together beaten eggs and milk.
  2. Dip each mozzarella cube into the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture until fully coated.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and fry coated mozzarella cubes in batches for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Drain on paper towels.
  5. For the creamy dip, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, parsley, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
