  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup dry white apple vinegar
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise; season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dredge in flour.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden brown (4-5 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and sliced mushrooms; cook until soft (5-6 minutes). Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Pour in white apple vinegar; deglaze the pan for 2-3 minutes until reduced by half.
  5. Stir in heavy cream; return chicken to the pan and cook for an additional 5 minutes until fully cooked through.
