  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, sauté shrimp seasoned with Cajun spice for about 3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth; simmer gently.
  4. Reduce heat to low, add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing until well-coated. If too thick, stir in reserved pasta water to achieve desired consistency.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
