  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, combine melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla. Mix wet into dry until just combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the filling.
  4. Fill muffin cups halfway with batter; add cinnamon filling; top with remaining batter and swirl gently.
  5. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For the glaze, beat cream cheese until smooth; add powdered sugar and milk to reach desired consistency.
  7. Drizzle glaze over cooled muffins.
