  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth (for rice)
  • ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for rice)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Sear chicken in olive oil over medium heat until golden brown, about 5–6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth and lemon juice; deglaze the skillet.
  4. Simmer sauce for 3–4 minutes before returning chicken to the skillet to coat in the sauce.
  5. For garlic parmesan rice, melt butter in a saucepan, sauté garlic, toast rice, then add broth and simmer until tender.
  6. Stir in parmesan cheese and parsley into the rice before serving.
