Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked macaroni noodles
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Onion powder to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup matchstick carrots

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3–4 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  2. Increase heat slightly and add ground beef. Cook until browned thoroughly, draining excess fat if necessary.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir for about 1–2 minutes until lightly toasted. Gradually pour in chicken broth while stirring continuously.
  4. Add heavy cream along with salt, pepper, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in matchstick carrots and uncooked macaroni noodles. Simmer for about 10–12 minutes until pasta is al dente.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Top with Parmesan before serving.
