  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons paprika (preferably smoked)
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cajun seasoning by mixing the spices in a small bowl.
  2. In another bowl, whip the room temperature butter until light and fluffy, then mix in honey and some of the Cajun seasoning.
  3. Dry the salmon fillets with paper towels and rub with oil before seasoning with salt and pepper.
