  • 1 box brownie mix (for 9x13 pan)
  • 22 Oreos (divided)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven as per brownie mix instructions. Grease or line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions. Stir in crushed Oreos and pour into the prepared pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, egg, vanilla extract, granulated sugar, and sour cream until smooth. Pour over the brownie layer.
  4. Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling completely.
  5. For the ganache, melt chocolate chips with heavy whipping cream over low heat until smooth. Pour over cooled cheesecake layer and sprinkle with remaining crushed Oreos.
  6. Chill for at least two hours before slicing into bars.
