Description

Boat Dip, also known as Rotel Ranch Dip, is a creamy, zesty appetizer that’s sure to impress at any gathering. Perfect for game days, parties, or casual get-togethers, this easy-to-make dip combines the rich flavors of cream cheese and sour cream with diced tomatoes and ranch seasoning.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, well-drained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ packet ranch seasoning mix
  • ½ cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • ½ cup chopped cooked turkey bacon (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Tortilla chips, crackers, or veggie sticks for serving

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese at room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
  2. Drain the diced tomatoes in a strainer for at least 5 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  4. Stir in ranch seasoning to taste.
  5. Fold in drained tomatoes and shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. For optional ingredients, mix in chopped cooked turkey bacon if desired.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
