Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually combine with the wet ingredients to form a soft dough.
  5. Reserve 1 cup of dough for topping; press the remaining dough into the baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Prepare the blueberry filling by cooking blueberries with sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and zest until thickened.
