  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm whole milk
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. In another bowl, whisk warm milk, melted butter, and eggs. Gradually add to dry ingredients until combined.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  3. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl for the filling.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick. Spread melted butter over it and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture and blueberries.
  5. Roll tightly from one edge into a log and cut into slices (1-2 inches thick).
  6. Place on a lined baking sheet with space between each roll and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
