- 2 tsp instant coffee
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- 300g dark chocolate (for frosting)
- 3 tbsp corn syrup
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder (for frosting)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cup heavy cream, chilled
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans and line with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix wet ingredients: eggs, vegetable oil, buttermilk, and sour cream until smooth. Combine with dry ingredients.
