Ingredients

  • ½ kg Potato
  • 45 g Cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp White pepper
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • 400 g Ground beef
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp White pepper
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • 4 slices Mozzarella cheese
  • 100 g Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 150 g Bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Prepare the potatoes by peeling and cutting them into cubes. Boil in salted water until tender (about 15 minutes), then drain and mash.
  2. Stir in cheddar cheese, salt, white pepper, and garlic powder into the mashed potatoes until well combined.
  3. In a frying pan over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Season with salt, white pepper, and garlic powder. Mix in mozzarella cheese once cooked.
  4. Shape the potato mixture into flat patties, adding a spoonful of the beef filling in the center before folding to form croquettes.
  5. Coat each croquette with flour, beaten egg, and bread crumbs before frying in hot oil until golden brown.
