  • Pinch of salt (for filling)
  • ½ cup store-bought caramel sauce (for garnish)
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla; mix well.
